The Allen & Heath DX168 is a portable 96kHz stagebox expander with 16 mic/line inputs and 8 XLR line outputs. It adds remote I/O to dLive, Avantis, SQ and 96kHz Qu mixers, and to AHM audio matrix processors, and is aimed at rental, education and house of worship use.
- 16 mic preamps with +60dB of gain, phantom power indicators and -20dB pad for line level sources
- 8 balanced, relay protected line outputs on XLR
- Connects over a single Cat5e cable, up to 100m from the mixer
- Second locking EtherCon port for redundant connection or daisy-chaining another DX expander
- Plug-and-play, with firmware updates handled by the mixer
- Rubber bumpers and carry handle, with optional 4U rack mounting kit
