A thin, flat damping ring that sits on top of an 18 inch drum head to tame ring and overtones without taping anything to the drum. Only 0.25 mm thick, so it floats on the head and moves with it, and you can lift it off in a second when you want the full sustain back. Off white in colour, with the same ring also made in clear. Suits an 18 inch floor tom or the batter head of an 18 inch bass drum. DXP part number DB649.
