About this product
A light five-string set for players who want an easy, bendable feel and a low B that doesn't fight back: gauges .040, .060, .075, .095 and .125, Ernie Ball's Super Slinky weights. Lower tension makes fast runs, slap and long rehearsals less work on the hands, at the cost of a little low-end weight compared with a 45 or 50 set. Same construction as the rest of the range: nickel-plated steel round wound on a hex steel core, made in California and sealed in foil. Part number 2824.
