A wooden tone block with a different pitch at each end and ribbed sections for scraping, so one player gets a high and low click plus a guiro rasp from a single piece of wood. It is around 20 cm long and 4 cm across, with a handle that keeps knuckles out of the way, and a beater is included. Handy for teaching two-tone patterns, clave rhythms and the scrape in a samba or cha-cha. Model UE53.
