Yamaha's school descant recorder, pitched in C with Baroque (English) fingering; if your school has asked for German fingering, that is the YRS-23 instead. Moulded in ABS resin in three pieces, so the foot joint turns to suit small hands and it pulls apart for washing, with double holes on the bottom two notes for clean low C sharp and D sharp. The straight windway gives a soft, clear tone, and the range runs roughly C5 to D7. Comes with a cotton bag and fingering chart. Model YRS-24B.
