The small size of Dunlop's white plastic thumb pick, which suits kids, smaller hands and anyone who finds the medium slides about. Thumb picks let you drive the bass strings with the thumb and keep your fingers free for the melody, the way banjo players and fingerstyle guitarists work. Plastic rather than metal, so the tone is warm and you keep good control of the note. Works on almost any stringed instrument. Also made in medium, large and extra large. Sold singly. Part number 9001.
