Pirastro's beginner rosin, a hard orange cake set in a square plastic box with a cloth wrapped around the sides so fingers stay off the rosin. It was developed to go with Pirastro's Piranito student strings but suits any violin or viola bow, giving a straightforward grip on the string for a new player without fuss. The box keeps it from crumbling in a case, which matters in a school strings room. Made in Germany. Product number 9007.
